To the editor:

On Oct. 30, I stopped at an Allsupís Store in the next county and got gas for $2.35 per gallon. Today (Nov. 2), the price remains the same ó $0.50 per gallon cheaper than here.

Now, our local distributor company here surely would not be gas gouging! But they will be in their church pews on Sunday, as usual. So why donít we ask them? If it is not them, then all the local stations must be guilty and I find this hard to believe.

So, citizens of Brownwood and surrounding areas, we should not be done this way! Drive to the next county and you will still save money.

Please stand up with me and fight back.
