Three members of the Brownwood ISD coaching staff will serve as assistants during the annual Big Country Chevy Dealers FCA All-Star Festival in June.

Nadir Dalleh will assist San Angelo Lake View’s Robert Chaney with the South boys basketball team, as that game will be played at the Brownwood Coliseum — along with the girls game — on Saturday, June 4. Start times will be 6 and 8 p.m. as the games will be played on the weekend for the first time since their inception.

Jessica Lynn will serve as an assistant to Drew Clevenger of Coahoma on the South softball squad, which will battle the North on Friday, June 10 in San Angelo.

Herb Rios was chosen to assist Junction’s Joe Castillo and the South baseball team, which will also suit up June 10 in San Angelo.

Players for the game will be announced during the spring.

The FCA All-Star Festival will feature 260 student-athletes and 34 coaches this year in two basketball games along with softball, baseball, volleyball and football contests. The volleyball and football games will be held Saturday, June 11 in Abilene.
