Seven Bangs Lady Dragons and four Early Lady Horns were selected to the 7-3A all-district girls basketball team.

Early junior Jayslin King was named co-defensive player of the year along with Coleman’s Ashley Hammonds — the lone superlative selection for the Brown County schools.

Bangs’ all-district selections included seniors Raelee Francois, Haley Pitts and Michaela Light, while honorable mention recipients were senior Liz Pettit, junior Ryli Pruitt, sophomore Taylor Malett and freshman Torrey Miller.

For Early, junior Lauren Jesko made the all-district list while honorable mention nods went to seniors Ramsie Rodgers and Hunter Coffee.

The rest of the 7-3A superlative award winners were co-MVPs Jilian Hufstutler of Comanche and Chyna Washington of Brady, newcomer of the year Mo Alvarado of Comanche and coach of the year Diana Salinas of Comanche.

The remainder of the all-district choices were Coleman’s Kloe Hale and Emily Milward, Comanche’s Molly Stephens, Mandy Carter and Autumn Bill and Brady’s Annie Lenoir, Baylee Francis and Heaven Roberts.
