COMANCHE — The Bangs Lady Dragons slipped to 0-4 in District 6-3A volleyball action Tuesday night, dropping a four-set decision — 25-17, 19-25, 26-24, 25-16 — to the Comanche Maidens.

“We played well in the second set, but we’re still looking for consistency throughout a whole match,” said Bangs head coach Lori Eason.

Alli Allen, Kenzie Baker and Karlie Little led the Lady Dragons with three kills each followed by Kenedi Deal with two and Kyra Smith with one. Baker dished out 23 assists while Marianna Alvarado added 15 and Allen chipped in four. Baker’s six aces were a team-best trailed by five from Allen, three from Smith, two from Harley Montague and one from Little.

Defensively, Vanessa Perez recorded five digs followed by Deal and Little with four each, Baker with three and Alvarado with two.

The Lady Dragons (5-16, 0-4) wrap up the first half of district action at 2 p.m. Saturday when they host Eastland.
