BANGS — The Bangs Lady Dragons notched their second consecutive victory, upending District 6-3A leader Comanche in five sets, 13-25, 25-23, 10-25, 25-19, 16-14, during Saturday’s home finale.

“I wish we had three weeks left,” said Bangs head coach Lori Eason. “My girls are really coming together. Again it was a total team effort, our bench included. I’m so proud of them and glad my seniors got to go out at home this way.”

Kenedi Deal paced the Lady Dragons offense with seven kills followed by Harley Montague with two and Alli Allen, Kenzie Baker, Kyra Smith and Karlie Little with one apiece.

Baker distributed 19 assists trailed by 18 from Marianna Alvarado, 13 from Allen and one from Deal.

Allen and Corhen Hinze served two aces while Deal, Smith and Montague tallied one apiece.

On the defensive end, Little posted 12 digs trailed by 11 from Deal, eight from Alvarado, five from Vanessa Perez, four from Baker, two each from Hinze and Robinson and one apiece by Smith and Montague.

Smith tallied two blocks followed by Allen, Baker and Montague with one.

Bangs (7-19, 2-7) concludes its season at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eastland.
