Eight members of the Early Lady Horns volleyball team received all-district accolades from the coaches of 6-3A, while six Bangs Lady Dragons were honored.

Early earned a pair of superlative awards as sophomore middle blocker Kacee Gober was selected co-blocker of the year while senior Jayslin King was tabbed setter of the year.

For Bangs, senior right-side hitter Alli Allen was chosen co-server of the year.

First-team selections included Lady Dragons senior outside hitter Kenedi Deal and Lady Horns senior libero Gabby Constancio.

Early placed senior middle blocker Tuesdi Tidwell and freshman outside hitter Trinity Tomlinson on the second team, while junior setter Cylee Tyson, sophomore right-side hitter Ellie Ryan and senior defensive specialist Holly Callaway received honorable mention

Bangs was left off the second team, but honorable mention recipients included sophomore setter Kenzie Baker, senior outside hitter Karlie Little, senior middle blocker Harley Montague and freshman middle blocker Kyra Smith.

The Lady Dragons, under head coach Lori Eason, finished with a 7-20 overall record and 2-8 mark against District 6-3A competition.

The Lady Horns, led by first-year head coach Mitzi Bell, went 9-22 on the season with a 1-9 league mark.

Academic all-district selections from Early were Ryan, Gober, King, Constancia, Tomlinson, Tidwell, Tyson, Callaway, Hope Boswell, Hallie Brinson, Lainey Speck and Brilee Tabor.

Bangs academic all-district members included Baker, Little, Montague, Vanessa Perez, Kenedi Deal and Trenedi Deal.
