Pruitt brings home bronze with round of 77
LAMPASAS — The Brownwood Lions kicked off the 2017 golf season Tuesday at Lampasas with a fifth-place team performance.
The Lions posted a team score of 336, led by the third-place performance of Jaryn Pruitt, who carded a 77. Pruitt won the district championship a year ago and came up one stroke shy of qualifying for state.
Caden Reagan added an 83 for the Lions followed by the 86 of Parker Dorsett, a 90 by Ben Kallman and Sawyer Dodd’s round of 106.
McLane Moore competed as a medalist and fired a 112.
Lampasas won the tournament with a 324 composite score followed by Midway with a 326 and Belton with a 331.
