ABILENE — In another preview of District 5-4A boys golf action, the Brownwood Lions came in second at the Abilene Wylie Invitational on Wednesday.
The Lions carded a 338 team score, which left them nine shots back of host of tournament champion Abilene Wylie (329).
Defending 4A boys golf state champion Jaryn Pruitt carded a 74, which left him one stroke behind Big Spring's Nolan Otto (73).
Caden Reagan fired an 80 for the Lions while John Murray chipped in an 88 and Ben Kallman finished with a 96.
Big Spring placed third as a team with a 341 score while Snyder was four with a 344.
