DUBLIN — The Bangs Dragons and Dublin Lions are now tied for fourth place in the District 6-3A baseball standings following Dublin's 12-5 home victory over Bangs Friday night.

Bangs (5-12, 3-4) allowed at one least one run in every inning, as Dublin (4-11, 3-4) put the game out of reach with a five-spot in the bottom of the sixth. The Dragons trailed 2-0 after one inning, 4-2 after two, 5-2 after three, 6-2 after four, 7-4 through five and 12-4 heading to the seventh.

The Dragons finished with nine hits — three by Ethan Sanchez, two by Austin Hall and one apiece by Kadon Richards, Colton Brewer and Eli Carbajal. Sanchez, Richards, Brewer and Steven Montgomery collected RBIs.

Carbajal worked 1.1 innings, giving up four runs — two earned — on three hits with three walks and two strikeouts. Hall pitched 4.2 innings and yielded eight runs — six earned — on eight hits with three walks. The Bangs defense also committed five errors.

The Dragons visit district leader Brady (14-3, 6-1) at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
