The Early Longhorns kicked off their 2019 powerlifting season Saturday in Dublin with a dominating performance.

The Longhorns showed up with 21 competitors and left with the girls first place team trophy and the boys second place team trophy.

Allie Blasingame and Cale Wade were awarded the outstanding lifter trophies.

Notable finishes included:

• Katelyn Espinos: 1st place in the 97s

• Jeannia Scott: 2nd place in the 97s

• Hope Boswell: 1st place in the 114s

• Bekah Smithson: 2nd place in the 132s

• Kenzie Poindexter: 3rd place in the 148s

• Allie Blasingame: 1st in the 165s (Girls Outstanding Lifter)

• Adamari Constancio: 2nd place in the 165s

• Veronica Villerreal: 1st place in the 198s

• Ellie Ryan: 3rd place in the 198s

• Hanner Campbell: 1st place in the 123s

• Reece Bolton: 5th place in the 132s

• Cale Wade: 1st in the 148s (Boys Outstanding Lifter)

• Tre Beam: 2nd place in the 165s

• Ty Schafer: 2nd place in the 198s
