LINGLEVILLE — The Early Lady Horns were unable to build off the momentum off their runner-up finish in the silver bracket of the Veribest tournament, as they dropped a 25-20, 25-16, 25-17 decision at Lingleville Tuesday night.
“We’re still playing shorthanded as we have players working their way back from injuries,” said Early head coach Natalie Whitewood, whose team slipped to 3-5 on the season. “That is causing communication errors which will be fixed. Girls are playing out of position but still working hard. We hope to be at full strength by district.”
Statistical information on the game was not available.
The Lady Horns’ next match is slated for 6 p.m. Friday at Zephyr.
