Members of the Brownwood Lady Lions volleyball team were recently recognized for their all-district honors at a meeting of the Brownwood ISD Board of Trustees.

Ashlyn Storm led the Lady Lions' individual accolades as she earned the superlative honor of Blocker of the Year.

First-team all-district selections included Caitlyn Moody and Aleyia Cotton, while second-team choices were Olivia Fowler and Jaylen Savage. Receiving honorable mention were Katelyn Windham, Tessa Goodwin, Kylie Morris and Kylie Wooten.

Academic all-district honorees included Storm, Fowler, Savage, Windham, Goodwin, Morris, Wooten, Becca Church and Gracie Boswell.

The Lady Lions posted a 19-15 overall record, were runners-up in District 7-4A with a 5-3 league mark, and were bi-district finalists in their first season under head coach Allison Smith.
