Domestic disturbances lead to arrests

Domestic disturbances, including one in which numerous items ended up on the floor of a home, led to several recent arrests.
Deputies Joe Thomas and Byron Langley were dispatched Friday to a home on County Road 475 on a report that a man was assaulting a woman. Deputies entered the home to find a large cabinet overturned and other items including broken crystal glassware, broken eggs and a milk container on the floor.
Deputies arrested Adam Bolden, 44, on charges of possession of a controlled substance, assault, interfering with an emergency call and violating a protective order, Brown County Jail records state.
In other incidents:
• Brownwood police were dispatched Thursday to the 1800 block of Austin on a domestic disturbance call. Police learned a woman had assaulted three family members including one who is disabled. Police arrested Hallie Crouch, 18, on charges of assault, injury to a child/elderly/disabled person, resisting arrest and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
• Police were dispatched Thursday to the 1000 block of Avenue I on a domestic disturbance call. Police learned a man had thrown a beer bottle that hit his wife in the head.
• Police were dispatched to the 500 block of East Commerce, where they arrested a 13-year-old male juvenile on an allegation that he had assaulted his sister.
• Police were dispatched Thursday to the 2800 block of Southside on a hit-and-run report. It is believed the suspect vehicle had no brakes and used the victim vehicle to get stopped, then fled.
Others booked into the Brown County Jail between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday were:
Laura Fry, 37, Brownwood, DWI.
Melanie Groves, 56, Brownwood, DWI.
Britteny Henderson, 25, Santa Anna, driving with invalid license.
Jamie McQueen, 33, Arlington, burglary of a building.
Jessie Noyola, 28, Brownwood, motion to adjudicate for theft.
Shirley Phillips, 58, Brownwood, DWI second.
