Winters native Bill Little to be keynote speaker for Annual Foundation Dinner

Recognized as one of the nation’s leading figures in the area of college athletics media relations, Bill Little has never forgotten the Winters, Texas roots which launched his journalistic career over fifty years ago.

Little recently retired from The University of Texas Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and where he held the title of Special Assistant to the Head Football Coach/Communications. Bill is a prominent sports broadcaster who has authored or co-authored eight books and hundreds of award-winning magazine and web commentaries.

He was also recognized in 2013 as a Distinguished Alumni of Winters High School.

Bill Little will be the keynote speaker at the Winters Area Foundation Annual Dinner, Tuesday, April 7, 2015, 6:00 pm at the Winters School Cafeteria.

Membership in the Future of Winters Fund is $120 per year and that entitles the donor to 2 steak dinners catered by West Texas Rehab and entertainment by the San Angelo Central Strings.
