Early voting in runoff ends; Election Day is Tuesday

Early voting ended Friday in the July 14 primary runoff election, and those who did not cast early ballots will go to the polls on Election Day, which is Tuesday, July 14.

All voting will take place at the Brown County Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk. Hours are 7 am. to 7 p.m.

In the Republican Party runoff, voters will choose between Jon Francis and Glenn Rogers in the race for House of Representatives District 60.

In the Democratic Party runoff, voters will chose between Royce West and Mary “MJ” Heger in the race for United States senator. Voters will also choose between Roberto R. “Beto” Alonzo and Chrysta Castaneda in the race for railroad commissioner.

In Brown County early voting, 2,247 Republican ballots were cast and 73 Democrats cast early ballots.
