Children's Art Class (ages 5 and up) are held at the Brownwood Art Center 215 Fisk every Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Instructor is Claudette West, call 512-940-1713 for information.

Early First United Methodist Church will hold a free family dinner and youth fellowship. The dinner will be held at 6:30 p.m. with pre-school and kindergarten kids attending fellowship from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and youngsters ages 6 through 18 attending fellowship from 7 to 8 p.m.

Kidz for Christ, open to children age 3 through the sixth grade, takes place at Early First Baptist Church from 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Wednesday. The Brownwood Art Center, at 215 Fisk in downtown Brownwood,  have a Grand Reopening with a First Thursday reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Grand Reopening kicks off a photography-rich show featuring BAA 2020 Photographer of the Year Jim Blake and 2021 Artist of the Year Craig Seger. The Art Center was closed for repairs and renovations and is now ready to welcome the community back to enjoy art. The First Thursday reception is held every month and invites the community to view the work of a selected artist for that month’s gallery display. Light refreshments are served, and there is no admission charge.
