Traffic delays expected during railroad signal replacement
Railroad Signal International will be working Tuesday on U.S. Highway 377 at the Texas Rock Crusher railroad tracks in Brownwood to replace the railroad crossing signal, Brownwood police said.
The crossing is at the highway's intersection with County Road 238 near Crockett.
The installation will require the use of a crane which will be set up on the highway. Traffic will be routed to one-half of the roadway, then moved to the other side in order to change the other signal. Traffic cones and barricades will be used to divert traffic throughout this designated time.
Motorists are reminded to drive with care and plan on delays as the new signals are installed.
