Residents, property owners and businesses owners are invited to participate in an online public survey to identify the types of park spaces, recreation facilities and recreational programs that can enhance the quality of life in Brownwood. Three days after being elected to a fourth term as Brownwood’s mayor, Stephen Haynes said he doesn’t get tired of presiding over city council meetings. “The council meetings are always interesting,” Haynes said Tuesday after a short meeting of the council.
The Salvation Army Service Center in Brownwood will reopen at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 16 after a time of essential repairs and reorganization, the Salvation Army said in a press release.
