A $750,000 bond has been set for Jose Alfonso Portillo, the 28-year-old Brady man charged with murder in the shooting death early Thursday morning of a Brownwood man, Brown County Jail records state. Ivan Sergio Garcia-Rincon, 34, died after being shot in 2700 block of Elizabeth, police said earlier.
