Pickup hits building

James LeMond, Brownwood Fire Department assistant fire chief of prevention, stands in front of a building that was hit by pickup Tuesday morning at Avenue D and Highway 377 South. The pickup traveled through the building and out the other side, then crashed into a travel trailer parked at the property. It is believed the pickup’s driver had a medical event before the vehicle left the highway and hit the building, police said. One person was inside the building and was not injured.
