EARLY — The Early Police Department posted information on its Facebook page about the trailer fire in Early and eight grass fires that occurred along U.S. Highway 183 south of Early.
An 86-year-old May woman who was injured in a two-vehicle accident on July 22 in Early has died, the Early Police Department said in a Facebook post. Sandra Camp, who was taken to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, died Wednesday, police said.
Brownwood City Council members authorized publication of a notice to issue Certificates of Obligation to finance the construction of two landfill cells. The city plans to begin construction of cells 14 and 16 in late September at a projected cost of $15 million.
