Lady Dragons hope to be in volleyball playoff mix

Despite a 3-7 start and a young varsity roster small in numbers, fourth-year Bangs volleyball coach Cheyenne Lovelady thinks her Lady Dragons will be a major player come playoff time.in late October. Part of the coach’s optimism is because Bangs dropped from Class 3A to 2A in February’s UIL realignment and escaped an eight-team 3A district that included perennial powers Peaster and Millsap.
