Cynthia “Cindy” Yarborogh
Cynthia “Cindy” Yarborogh passed away September 12,2022 in Brownwood, Texas. She was born in 1955 in Kingsville, Texas to Andrew Benson and Annette Inglet Milam of Bishop, Texas. Cindy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and mommy to Pepper, a salt and pepper Schnauzer and Rascal, a Wheatin Schnauzer. Cindy grew up and attended school in Bishop, Texas and was an original 9th Street Gang member, along with 72 other kids of similar age within a small town 3 block radius. She was a member of American Business Women’s Association, Federation of Houston Professional Women, and Tomball Chamber of Commerce. Cindy was 1996 ABWA Woman of the year, Tomball Charter Chapter and 1999 FHPW Woman of Excellence. She worked for BJ services from 1975-2013. During her 38 years there she held various positions promoting through service to Management Systems Coordinator at the Manufacturing, Research & Development & Instrumentation of Center at Tomball, Texas. Cindy gave Glory to God and loved Jesus Christ. She eagerly participated in various Bible study groups. Her hobbies included water skiing, snow skiing, golf, and bowling. She enjoyed family reunions on both Milam/Andrews and Inglet sides and visiting with family and lifelong friends. Cindy was survived by her brother, Richard Milam and Wife Dwanna D. Milam of Burleson, nephews- Andrew Ellis, Johnathan Eisenhauer, Codie Eisenhauer, Richard Milam, nieces- Amy Marshall, Jennifer Henderson, Holly Milam, and Chelsie Milam. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Andrew Milam and Annette Milam, a brother Andrew Milam Jr. and her sister Delice Eisenhauer. Visitation for will be held Friday September 16, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm. A service will be held Saturday September 17,2022, at Heritage Funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
Citizens National Bank celebrates renovation of exterior, interior
Citizens National Bank in Brownwood celebrated the renovation of its interior and exterior, and drive-thru bank with a ribbon cutting and open house Thursday. Customers and friends of the bank visited the bank and enjoyed refreshments, and offered congratulations to bank employees including Chief Executive Officer John Guest and members of the bank’s board of directors.

Lady Jackets’ soccer beats Texas College 9-0
The Howard Payne women’s soccer team beat Texas College 9-0 Tuesday as Abby Harrison scored three goals and Ella Alvarado added two goals. The Lady Jackets (3-1-1) also received one goal each from Carrie Gerdes, Karlee Friebele, Brenna Douthit and Veaney Cazares.
