GOLDTHWAITE – The Brownwood Lady Lions and Goldthwaite Lady Eagles found themselves in different places Friday night, both in their basketball game and within the bigger picture of their respective district races.
While much of the work being done on Brownwood’s Multipurpose Event Center complex isn’t obvious to passersby, substantial progress has been made. Ray Tipton, director of the Brownwood Municipal Development Corp., gave an update on the project.
BRADY -- The Brownwood boys’ basketball team won two games Thursday and one Friday at the Brady tournament. The three wins improved the Lions’ record to 7-3.
