HPU Model UN Team takes top honors at National Conference in Seattle

The Howard Payne University Model United Nations (MUN) team recently took home three of the top five honors, including the top team at the Northwest Model United Nations Conference in Seattle, Washington. The HPU team won outstanding delegate in the beginner committee, outstanding delegate in the intermediate committee and the “Outstanding Delegation” award.

TxDOT seeking input on future of US 377

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking public input on the future of US 377, a corridor that spans 462miles from Del Rio to the Texas-Oklahoma state line and plays a major role in moving people and goods through Texas.

Local author book signing set at Intermission Bookshop

Intermission Bookshop will host a book signing from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. This event is part of the Sipping Under the Stars festivities and features local authors Kadee Carder and Amy Cefoldo, who will be signing copies of their newly released 35-day devotional, "Of Atoms and Oceans."
