Oct. 25 Area Football Games

The Brownwood Lions’ JV football team lost at Burnet 24-14 Thursday night. The loss dropped the Lions’ record to 4-3-1 overall and 0-2 in district games.

Jalen Helms began this season in August as a 25-year-old first-time head football coach. Here it is the final Friday in October, and Helms’ Blanket Tigers still haven’t lost.
